The waveform generator consists of an input terminal (28) coupled to a delay unit (23), a processing unit (25) and a composing unit (21). The delay unit uses a set of delay elements (30-314) to delay propagation of the input signal from the terminal to the processor. The delayed signal is then processed using programmable elements (40b-415b) to produce an output signal. The composing unit then composes these output signals to generate a waveform. An Independent claim is included for a semiconductor testing device.
