The panel seal consists of a seal element (3) with an inner reinforcing member (5) which projects from the seal element to form a fastening zone (7) with holes (23) for fixings joining it to the edge of the panel. The seal is made from an elastomer or thermoplastic material with main and secondary (13) lips. The reinforcing member is of a composition material or metal and the fixings are in the form of nuts and bolts with washers.
