PURPOSE: To fill and supply a material to a wall cut part when the linear ball bearing is formed by a cool forging. ;CONSTITUTION: A forming raw material 26 is put in a dye 33, and a circular punch 34 is pushed in to the cylindrical part of the forming raw material 26 so as to let flow the forming raw material 26 in the longitudinal direction, and at the same time, the inner side form is contracted and squeezed to a mandrel 32, and at the final phase, the part of the forming raw material 26 not yet pushing out is contracted to expand its diameter, the forming material is pushed in and filled to the recesses 29 and 31 of the dye 33, and a specific form of a necessary circular flange 15 is formed. After the forming is completed, the raw material is exhausted from the dye 33, and a circular projection 30 is removed, so as to obtain the final product. When the flange is of a strange form, a trim process is included in the series of cool forging process.
