PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leaf tobacco lift which can solve various problems involved in the conventional machines composed of pipe-receiving tools and pipes where each pipe-receiving tool engaged with a screw lever, and which are known as referred to literature, such as the pipe-receiving tool getting out of position, misalignment between the pipe-receiving tool and pipe, the pipe getting out of the horizontal direction and hindered movement of the pipe in the vertical direction when the pipe-receiving tool is not accurately engaged with the screw lever, and reliable vertical motion or engagement is hindered when a space between the screws is clogged with sludge, or the like, because the screw lever is the essential member in the screw engagement. ;SOLUTION: This lift is composed of a frame 1 a winging unit 2 contained in the frame 1, first to nth more lifting frames 4 to 6 attached to pillars of the frame in such a way that they can freely move in the vertical direction, wherein the winding unit 2 is held by the first lifting frame, and these lifting frames 4 to 6 are vertically moved by the clockwise or anticlockwise motion of winding means 3 installed on the winding unit 2, and these first to nth lifting frames 4 to 6 are connected to each other through a connecting tool 7. This configuration allows a connected rope 11 suspending a number of tobacco leaves to be securely and smoothly held by the lifting levers for these lifting frames 4 to 6, and to be easily handled, e.g. for suspending the leaves and be removed from the lift.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
