LOCKING LEVER OF DEPTH-OF-CUT REGULATING MECHANISM FOR PORTABLE CIRCULAR SAW

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To upgrade rotary operability of a locking lever for locking a depth of cut of a portable circular saw having a depth-of-cut regulating mechanism. ;SOLUTION: A first lever 20b and a second lever 20c are continuously provided in a rotary operating direction with a gap allowing insertion of a finger for rotating. If a finger is hard to hook on the lever 20b, the finger is hooked on the lever 20c, and the locking lever 20 is rotated in an unlocking direction. The levers 20b and 20c are disposed parallel to each other vertically symmetrically with a sufficient auxiliary gap S1 for inserting the user's finger between the levers 20b and 20c. Thus, the user can rotate the lever 20 even by hooking the finger on not only the lever 20b but also the lever 20c.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
