PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a well structure for purifying contaminated soil, which constitutes a protection wall against water flow and improves practical effect.;SOLUTION: Well structures 1 for purifying contaminated soil, which are driven into the land near a contaminated soil area A and form opening well gaps 3, are installed at least at upstream and downstream sides of a groundwater 4 within the contaminated soil area A. Contaminated groundwater 4, which is flowed into opening well gaps 3 in the well structure 1 for purifying contaminated soil installed at downstream side, is purified and returned into opening well gaps 3 in the well structure 1 for purifying contaminated soil installed at upstream side and is let flow into the contaminated soil area A. At the same time groundwater 4, which from outside of the contaminated soil area A flowed into opening well gaps 3 in the well structure 1 for purifying contaminated soil installed at upstream side, is let flow outside of the contaminated soil area through a by-pass route and opening well gaps 3 in the well structure 1 for purifying contaminated soil installed downstream side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
