PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable optical parts to be held so as to eliminate deformation of the optical parts and certainly prevent a deterioration in spherical accuracy, in grinding and polishing the optical parts such as a lens.;SOLUTION: One or a plurality of recess plate hole 2 receiving optical parts 10 such as a lens is provided. By using grinding/polishing recess plate 1 arranging adhesive holding surfaces 3 on each recess plate hole 2 so as to make the receiving ratio of the optical parts D2/D1 become 60 to 70%, a middle band portion of 60 to 70% of the outer diameter of the optical part 10 is bonded and held on the adhesive holding surface 3 through an adhesive 8, and the optical part 10 is pressed on a grinding/polishing tool which is rotating to be processed. Therefore, the deformation of the optical part 10 in a pasting process and the deformation due to processing pressure at the time of processing can be certainly suppressed, which enables certainly and effectively making specified curvature accuracy of the optical part 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
