Impermeable or breathable films with increased water vapour permeability (DIN 53 122) and reduced water take-up (DIN 53 495, Method C) are prepd. from polymer resin mixt. melts comprising at least two different thermoplastic resin mixt. melts comprising at least two different thermoplastic polyurethanes with soft segments that have different chemical compsns. The matrix-forming thermoplastic polyurethane comprises 70-95 wt.% ether soft segment in which the ratio of C to O atoms is 2-3.
