Single phase and high voltage factor electronic ballast based on a reducer converter and resonant inverter that allows the power supply to the lamp from the electric network in compliance with the standard in effect regarding the injection of harmonics. The system has a lower cost, less volume and less weight, and greater performance than existing circuits. Applicable to the industry of lighting with high and/or low-pressure discharge.lamps.
