In one of the preferred embodiments, an inkjetprinthead includes a nozzle member formed of a polymermaterial that has been laser-ablated to form inkjetorifices, ink channels, and vaporization chambers in theunitary nozzle member. The nozzle member is then mountedto a substrate containing heating elements associated witheach orifice. In a preferred method, the orifices, inkchannels, and vaporization chambers are formed using anExcimer laser.
