The invention relates to infusion solutions of the 1-cyclopropyl-6-fluoro-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-7-(1-piperazinyl)-quinoline-3-carboxylic acid (ciprofloxacin), containing 0.015 to 0.5 g of the active substance per 100 ml aqueous solution and one or more physiologically acceptable acid(s) in an amount sufficient to dissolve the active substance and stabilize the solution, the acid(s) being one or more monoesters or diesters of the orthophosphoric acid. The inventive infusion solutions have a longer storage life despite their reduced acid content.
