WATER HEATER USING SOLAR HEAT COLLECTING PANEL CONSTITUTED BY ETHYLENE-PROPYLENE-DIENEMETHYLENE(EPDM) TUBE AND USE OF EPDM

PURPOSE: A water heater and use of EPDM is provided to achieve a high heat efficiency with reduced cost by using synthetic rubber for heating water. CONSTITUTION: In a solar heat collecting panel for being used in a solar water heater, a flexible EPDM tube is installed in horizontal direction within a case placed onto a roof of a house. A plurality of EPDM tubes, each of which is installed in horizontal direction, are arranged in vertical direction with a predetermined spacing. An EPDM tube for cold water supply and an EPDM tube for hot water supply are connected to both ends of the EPDM tubes, and to a hot water tank. Then, the case is covered by a glass.
