PURPOSE: A power transmission compressor prevents the damage of a belt and the generation of a vehicle noise and stably maintains the performance of an air conditioner. CONSTITUTION: A compressor(1) and an idle pulley(8) are mounted on a supporting bracket(2) rotatably contacted to a bracket(4) on a vehicle body side by a hinge. An adjust rod tension adjuster(13) has one side supported on a crank shaft pulley(8) side and the other side supported and contacted to a supporting axis(21) extended from a bracket(20) fixed on the idle pulley(8) side. The adjust rod tension adjuster(13) pushes out the supporting bracket(2) by adjusting the total length thereof, thereby applying a tension to the belts(10,12).
