CONDENSATE WATER DISPOSAL ARRANGEMENT FOR AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: A condensate water disposal arrangement for air conditioner is provided to reduce cost by eliminating the necessity of mounting a heat insulating tube to a pipeline arranged above the drain pan. CONSTITUTION: An arrangement comprises a fan housing(50) for accommodating a fan and a motor so as to guide flow of the air generated by the fan; a drain pan(51) mounted onto the fan housing and which has a recess portion(51a) formed at the front portion of the drain pan for passage of a pipeline(62) of a heat exchanger(60); the heat exchanger mounted onto the drain pan and which has a plurality of fins(61) and the pipeline; and an auxiliary drain pan(70) mounted to the recess portion of the drain pan and which has a hole formed at the bottom of the auxiliary drain pan for passage of the pipeline of the heat exchanger and a guide groove for guiding the condensate water from the pipeline toward the drain pan.
