METHOD FOR CONTROLLING OPERATION OF OUTDOOR FAN OF INVERTER AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: A method for controlling operation of outdoor fan of inverter air conditioner is provided to prevent damage to power elements and circuit elements caused by over-heat of the radiation plate. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a step(100) of judging whether the temperature(T1) of the radiation plate is higher than a predetermined temperature; a step(103) of judging whether the compressor is in operation, if yes; a step(106) of turning off the compressor, if yes; a step(109) of maintaining the outdoor fan at "on" state; a step(112,115) of judging whether the temperature of the radiation plate is lower than a predetermined temperature(T2), and whether the current operation mode requires the condition of "compressor on" if the temperature of the radiation plate is lower than the predetermined temperature; a step(124) of judging whether a predetermined time has lapsed since the temperature has reached the predetermined temperature(T2), if the condition of "compressor on" is not required; a step(127) of turning off the outdoor fan if the predetermined time has lapsed; and a step(118,121) of turning on the compressor and maintaining the outdoor fan at "on" state, if it is judged in the step(115) that the current operation mode requires the condition of "compressor on".
