PURPOSE: A method for preparing oil from grape seeds containing antioxidative matters such as cathechin, epicatechin, tocopherol and procyanin is provided to serve good taste of grape seed oil and high effective antioxidative matter with low cost. CONSTITUTION: The method is characterized by the following steps of: (i) crushing grape seeds to be passed through 0.5mm of sieve; (ii) heating the crushed grape seed at 90deg.C for 10min. with stirring; (iii) wet roasting the crushed seed by putting the heated grape seed in a tray where a piece of cloth is laid on, heating the tray above boiling water for 5-10min., drying the seed for about an hour in the shade and roasting the seed; (iv) repeating the roasting and the wet-roasting processes several times and compressing the resulting processed grape seeds at 500-700kg/cm2.
