PURPOSE: An external touch panel using an eye protection screen is provided to form an eye protection screen as an external touch panel having a mouse function by adding a touch panel to the guard film. CONSTITUTION: A fixing plate(1) of an eye protection screen has a size corresponding to a front size of a monitor. A transparent conductive material(21) is applied on a front face of a transparent plate(2). A conductive line(22) is adhered to a left side or a right side of the transparent conductive material(21). A spacer layer(23) is formed between the transparent conductive material(21) and a conductive material(31). The conductive material is applied on a back face of a transparent bending plate(3). The transparent bending plate(3) is installed on a front face of the transparent plate(2). A colored film(4) is adhered to a front face of the transparent bending plate(3). A touch panel control portion(6) produces coordinates of a touched point to a resistance value. A connector(7) has a cable(71) for connecting the touch panel control portion(6) with a main body of a computer.
