The supply system has a guide (22) arranged above and parallel to an ink box (16) along the length of the box. A slide (24) moving along the guide carries a sleeve-shaped holder (26) for ink cartridges. An air pressure connection controls ink output. An ink output insert can be arranged in the holder instead of the cartridge, which is connected to an ink drum outside the holder.
