Cover plate for crankcase of IC engine extends over complete crankcase and forms modular unit with heat exchangers, pumps, and filters

The crankcase (1) has a crankcase chamber (9) and an additional chamber (5) for heat exchangers (6) and pumps (7). The cover plate (2) extends over the complete crankcase. Heat exchangers, pumps, and filters are mounted on the plate, which has channels for cooling water and lubricant, and two suction points for the pumps. The cover plate with components mounted on it, is fitted into the crankcase in one stage.
