PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid container which is suited well especially for a large liquid container, applicable also to an ink tank in the ordinary ink jet recording field, can maximize a given liquid containing space, reduces variations in quality extremely, and is strong. ;SOLUTION: Stable negative pressure is generated and thereby a liquid is supplied constantly by providing a penetrated hole 710 having a pinch-off section in the center of the side of a liquid container that has the largest area, increasing strength against external shock when the container is made larger, and dividing the container into multiple storing sections, and introducing air between an external wall 7012 and an internal wall 702 from the surrounding of the penetrated hole.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
