PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a charge transfer complex of a polyaniline with an organic electron acceptor, having an excellent heat stability by forming a charge transfer complex based on a polyaniline and an organic electron acceptor. ;SOLUTION: A solution prepared by dissolving an emeraldine base of a polyaniline in 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone is applied to a substrate by spin coating and dried at about 90°C to form a thin polyaniline film. This film is immersed in about 0.05mol solution prepared by dissolving an organic electron acceptor selected among substituted or unsubstituted benzoquinones, naphthoquinone, tetracyanoquinodimethane, tetracyanoethylene, etc., in an acetonitrile/1-methyl-2- pyrrolidone mixed solvent. After about 18hr, the film is withdrawn from the solution, washed with acetonitrile, and dried in vacuo to obtain a highly conductive charge transfer complex as shown in Fig.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
