PURPOSE: To keep a printing quality at high quality by a method wherein fitting of an ink ribbon magazine can be performed easily and parallelism with a platen and printing head is kept on. ;CONSTITUTION: A positioning pin 58 of a magazine is provided on a main frame 57 of a color printer main body, a head positioning hole 60 is provided in a head block 47 constituted of its thermal line head 48, a platen magazine positioning pin 64 is provided on its platen supporting member 63 and a positioning hole into which the magazine positioning pin 58 is fitted is provided into the first frame 42 of an ink ribbon magazine 21. A head positioning pin 21 which is fitted in the head positioning hole 60 and a platen magazine positioning hole into which the platen magazine positioning pin 64 is fitted are provided respectively in the second frame 43 and an auxiliary frame 62 fixed to the second frame 43.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
