PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a connector on a printed circuit board without using a compliant pin. SOLUTION: An electrically conductive projection 1 is provided in a fixed pattern in a connector mounting region in the surface of a printed circuit board 5. On the other hand, a connector 13 for a printed circuit board has contact conductors 11 whose front is a connector contact 8 and whose rear is a recessed part 7 and which are pressed into a resin-made connector housing 9 in accordance with the arrangement pattern of the electrically conductive projection 1 or fixed by an insertion mold, and the projection 1 is pressed into the recessed part 7. Therefore, electrical contact between the printed circuit board and the connector contact 8 is obtained.
