PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To a self luminous traffic rivet capable of extremely lowering a projected height from a road, emitting light for a long period of time without using a solar battery, as a result, having no need to largely cover it with a transparent material, having hard to be damaged in the road, increasing the part covered with a metal cover to the utmost and excellent in durability. SOLUTION: A vertical rib 11 is formed as the circumferential surface, a power source 18 as a primary battery is stored inside of an aluminum container main body 2 with the opened upper surface having a leg providing a pin anchor 12 parallel to the lower part thereof, the power source 18 connects a light source of an LED through the super power saving LED flashing drive circuit 22, and an aluminum cover body 46 forming a parallel slit 45 on the opened surface of the upper surface of the container main body 2 is so fitted that the upper surface thereof is slightly projected from the upper end of the container main body 2. Transparent prism 48 facing sideways is stored in the slit 45, the light source 9 of the LED is made to face a recess formed in the lower surface of the central part of the transparent prism 48, and the container main body 2 is so buried that the upper end thereof is made to coincide with the road.
