PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultured maggot for fishing bait, achieving fishing result comparable to a live maggot, usable without inspection, producible by a simple means and usable over a long period by using the dead maggot immersed in sugar syrup which is killed before growing, and provide a vessel for holding the maggot.;SOLUTION: A cultured maggot 1 killed by stopping the growth is held in a vessel 3 in a state immersed in sugar 2 or salt, oil, honey, water or alcohol.
