PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the attitude in elevating a material to be elevated, interlocking with an elevating operation in an elevating apparatus constructed by a multi-stage hydraulic cylinder having inner and outer cylinders.;SOLUTION: This elevating apparatus is formed by a plurality of cylinder units having an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder connected by a connecting member at the lower ends. In the elevating apparatus, upper inner cylinders 13 to 12 are movably externally fitted to lower inner cylinders 12 to 11, upper outer cylinders 23 to 22 and connecting members 33 to 32 are slidably internally fitted to the lower outer cylinders 22 to 21 to thereby vertically connect the cylinder units 43 to 41, and the interiors of the respective inner cylinder are communicated with each other to form a closed space, pressure oil is supplied and discharged to and from the closed space to thereby expand and contract the cylinder units, thereby elevating the material 23 to be elevated fitted to the uppermost cylinder unit 43. The apparatus is provided with a link mechanism 30 for supporting the material 23 to be elevated on the uppermost cylinder unit 42 to and an actuator for raising and laying down the link mechanism 30, and when the uppermost cylinder 43 is expanded, the link mechanism 30 is started by the actuator.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
