DEVICE AND PROGRAM FOR SEARCHING OPTIMAL SOLUTION BY EVOLUTIONARY METHOD AND CONTROLLER OF CONTROL OBJECT BY EVOLUTIONARY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a control object by an evolutionary method suitable to obtain an effective solution with a small number of the alternation of generations.;SOLUTION: The fuel consumption characteristic and response characteristic of an engine 10 are optimized for a user by a GA(Generic Algorithm). The GA virtually generates a population composed of the sets of a plurality of individuals, and configures individual information regarded as the genetic information of the individual for each individual. Here, a control coefficient for constructing a control module is allocated to each individual information. In the same generation, the population is made to evolve by performing a genetic operation that performs an information operation simulating a genetic operation on the individual information, and an individual selection operation that performs individual existence or selection on the basis of the evaluation value of an individual by at least once each to progress a generation by several times. In the process of generation progress, the degree of response is predicted on the basis of individual information for each individual, and the genetic operation is applied to the individual information until the predicted degree of response satisfies a prescribed condition.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
