PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dust collecting equipment capable of collecting dust diffused from a ladle even in the course of conveyance by an overhead traveling crane or in a steel manufacturing operation.;SOLUTION: The dust collecting equipment comprises a lifting beam 40 for hanging up the ladle 10 which is hung down by a rope winder 41 provided on a trolley 2 of an overhead traveling crane 1, a dust collector 8 provided on the lifting beam 40, a dust collecting cover 11 so shaped as to cover the upper space of the ladle 10 hung down by a hook 40f of the lifting beam 40 and a duct connected to the dust collector 8 and so provided as to suck the dust in the dust collecting cover 11. The dust brought about from the ladle 10 is collected by the dust collecting cover 11 and brought into the dust collector 8 on the lifting beam 40 through the duct. Since the dust collecting cover 11 is extensible and contractible, the dust is prevented from getting out into the surroundings when the ladle 10 moves up and down. Since the dust collector 8, the duct and others move with the lifting beam 40, they are not separated from the ladle 10.
