PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collecting method which can restrain the suction of air into a ladle without sealing between the ladle and a cover, and a device therefor. ;SOLUTION: Four pieces of air blow-out heads 3 are stood at the upper part of a cover 2. Four air blow-out heads 3 are connected with a blasting fan through a head communicating tube 4. In each air blow-out head 3, plural nozzles are fitted at prescribed interval units along the longitudinal direction (vertical direction) and injecting directions of the plural nozzles are set so as to be possible to develop circular gas flows having vertical axes, respectively. A dust collecting hood 10 is arranged at the upper part of the four air blow-out heads 3 and connected with a dust collecting fan 9 through a dust collecting duct 11. Then, the dust overflowed from the opening part of the cover 2 is shifted upward by guiding with artificial whirlwind and, successively, sucked into the dust collecting duct 11 with the forced suction through the duct- collecting hood 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
