PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone apparatus capable of limiting troublesome use without loosing convenience of the apparatus.;SOLUTION: In the apparatus, a limiting means 20 indicates a message such as 'PORTABLE TELEPHONE USE LIMITED AREA' on a display 22 of a portable telephone apparatus 4, stops a calling operation by a communication function and also makes setting of incoming sound silent and turning on a setting for a vibrator 24. When receiving a call, the apparatus 4 disconnects the communication after sending a preset answer message informing communication-inhibiting, then indicates the message informing incoming of callings or presence of recording after moving into recording state on the display 22, or informs them by the vibrator 24 and the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
