PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable nozzle mechanism for a variable displacement turbine forming connection sections between a connecting member connecting a nozzle driving member on an actuator side and a plurality of nozzle vanes and the nozzle vanes into a high-precision connecting structure having a high- strength without causing plastic deformations and without requiring special assembling tools such as jigs with few assembling man-hours at a low cost.;SOLUTION: This variable nozzle mechanism for the variable displacement turbine is provided with a plurality of connecting members connecting the nozzle driving member on the actuator side and a plurality of nozzle vanes. A connecting shaft section formed on the rotary shaft of each nozzle vane and having a shaft side lock face is inserted into a connecting hole formed on each connecting member and having a hole side lock face so that the shaft side lock face abuts on the hole side lock face without causing plastic deformations on the connecting hole and the coupling shaft section, thereby the connecting member and the nozzle vane are relatively unrotatably coupled, and a release stop process is applied at the tip section.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
