PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply propel a conducting rod in a conduit line, such as a cable protecting pipe and inspect the conduit line, and to efficiently insert a preparatory wire and perform wiring.;SOLUTION: A conducting rod 1 propelling method for propelling a conducting rod 1 inside a conduit line 62A via the medium of a balloon 3 which is a wind pressure receiving means, by connecting the balloon 3 to the front end of the conducting rod 1, connecting a wire 22 to the rear end of the conducting rod 1 in addition, inserting the balloon 3 and conducting rod 1 into the conduit line 62A from its one end, and blowing air against the balloon 3. Wiring is performed, by conducting a continuity test using the method and connecting a preparatory wire for drawing a cable in to the wire 22 after that. It is possible to omit processes of pressing in and drawing back of a rod 25 into and from the conduit line 62A. The rod 25 can easily penetrate even into a long conduit line, a bent conduit line, and a conduit line inclined upward, for which pressing in the rod are difficult. Besides, it is possible to insert a preparatory wire for drawing a cable in by a series of processes and perform wiring work of cables efficiently.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
