PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition which has an excellent heat resistance and optical character as well as low hygroscopic property and low permittivity.;SOLUTION: The copolymer consists of at least a kind of vinyl monomer which can copolymerize at least a kind of acenaphthylene derivative shown by formula (I) and the acenaphthylene derivative, and is characterized by having the weight average molecular weight of 5×104 or more.
