The invention relates to the chemical technology, in particular to the processes for obtaining of microcrystalline cellulose. Summary of the invention consists in that the cellulose-containing raw material is preliminarily dried and comminuted. Afterwards, it is impregnated with 10% NaOH solution in the ratio solid substance : solution 1 : 4_6 within 5_6 hours, then the solution is removed. The obtained mass is treated with 1% NaOH solution in the ratio solid substance : solution 1 : 6 at a temperature of 75 degree C within 24 hours. The NaOH solution is removed, and the obtained mass is treated with chlorinated water in 3 stages, then it is washed with water and it is treated with 1% NaOH solution within 1,5_2,5 h, which it is removed afterwards, and the obtained substance is washed. Then within 15 min at a temperature of 105 degree C it is treated with HCl 5N solution. The obtained special-purpose product is washed, filtered, dried and pulverized.Claims: 5
