The invention concerns a converter (1), consisting of two (or more) helical surfaces (3, 4), arranged symmetrically relative to a revolving shaft (2), comprising helical surfaces whereof one surface at least (upper or lower) consists of steps/risers , that is undulations , forming channels (7) flaring outwards, and bordered with a peripheral channel (5). Said converter can operate as mixed air and/or hydraulic and/or heat turbine. The revolving shaft (2) can be placed vertically (fig. 1), obliquely (fig. 2) or horizontally.
