PURPOSE: To easily compute a nozzle diameter and pressure right before the nozzle for decreasing the consumption flow rate of compressed air of an air blow system. CONSTITUTION: The current nozzle diameter, work distance, and pressure right before the nozzle or blow strike pressure are inputted as current values, and the consumption flow rate of the compressed air and blow strike pressure or pressure right before the nozzle are computed from the current values. An improved value of the nozzle diameter or pressure right before the nozzle is inputted judging from the arithmetic results, and the consumption flow rate of the compressed air and the pressure right before the nozzle or nozzle diameter are computed from the improved value as many times as needed. Thus, the nozzle diameter and pressure right before the nozzle are selected which minimize the consumption flow rate of the compressed air.
