APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ON-LINE MEASUREMENT OF INFLECTION OF COLD-ROLLED STEEL PLATE

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method are provided to measure inflections of cold-rolled steel plate in the rolling and width-wise direction in a rapid and accurate manner through the use of a plurality of gap detectors. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(100) comprises a plurality of gap detectors(120) disposed in a diagonal direction with respect to the rolling and width-wise direction of a cold-rolled steel plate(110), and which measure the distance from the cold-rolled steel plate and output electrical signals; an amplifier(130) for amplifying the signals output from the gap detectors; an A/D converter(140) for converting analog signals of the amplifier into digital signals; and a computer(150) for calculating inflections of the cold-rolled steel plate in the rolling and width-wise direction from the data obtained from the gap detectors.
