The device has a visual display screen (1) with a greater than 30 inch diameter mounted on end and with a digital camera (3) preferably integrated into its housing so that using computer technology the image sequence acquired by the camera can be shown on the screen and the device can be used as a replacement for a mirror or as an electric mirror for use in trying on clothes.
