The inner component (3) of the brake disc is made of stainless steel or titan in order to offer maximal stability and is provided with an outer rim (3a) which is either reduced in thickness or made less rigid by the use of openings or cuts (6). The rim (3a), which is the area to be joined (4) to the friction ring (2) can also be stepped in order to overlap partially with the rim (2c) of the ring (2), creating a stable but still slightly elastic connection, yielding in the case of extreme mechanical or thermal demands.
