A unit of force introduces flectional load on a post to load the post with moment of flexion. A displacement sensor measures drift caused by the moment of flexion. Time is recorded in milliseconds in an abscissa and the drift in the post is recorded in mm. in an ordinate. Three overlaid curves are displayed. In a first area (D) drift is reduced because flectional load is generated with a hydraulic driving mechanism and pressure in a hydraulic cylinder drops off. Areas of drift (A-F) appear in three curves (1-3) for changes in flectional load.
