First (3) and second (5) gear wheels are positioned by device (19) that moves second wheel relative to first between coupled and uncoupled positions. A tensioning device aligns teeth and grooves of the wheels with a first tensioning element (9) for tensioning a circumferential tensioning loop (7). The first tensioning element (9) is tensioned using a spring (8), while a second tensioning element (11) connected to the tensioning loop can be moved between first and second positions.
