PURPOSE: To obtain a slurry which contains a suspension agent, has such excellent suspension characteristics as to give a vinyl polymer with a narrow particle size distribution by suspension polymn., and can retain such characteristics for a long term even at a high concn. ;CONSTITUTION: This slurry contains an inorg. suspension agent and a dispersion stabilizer. The suspension agent has such a particle size distribution that 95wt.% cumulative particle size is 1μm or lower and is obtd. by grinding an inorg. suspension agent in an aq. medium in the presence of a dispersion stabilizer until the above particle size distribution is attained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
