PURPOSE: To prevent the clogging of fertilizer induced by electrodes by suppressing the protruding extent of an electrode and to prevent the erroneous detection caused by the attachment of a small amount of fertilizer even if both electrodes are placed close to each other. ;CONSTITUTION: A fertilizer is discharged from a fertilizing guide into a fertilizing furrow formed on a field with a furrow opening tool and the fertilizer deposited on the fertilizing guide is detected with a pair of electrodes. The objective fertilizer clogging sensor of the fertilizing apparatus having the above construction has the following structure. One of the electrodes is connected to-the fertilizing guide and the other electrode is attached to the front or rear side of the fertilizing guide via an insulating material in a state exposed in the fertilizing guide. An insulating material is applied to the circumference of the electrode in a state extended along the inner surface of the right and left walls of the fertilizing guide.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
