PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent upper and lower bus bars from making a continuity with each other due to water intruded into an electrical connection box along the upper surface of a laminated insulating plate provided in the box. ;SOLUTION: In an electrical connection box in which bus bars and insulating plates are arranged in a laminated state in a case composed of a lower case and an upper case, drain holes 13a-15a are bored through the insulating plate 13-15 so that the holes 13a-15a can communicate with each other when the plates 13-15 are laminated upon another and drain pipes 13c-15c are formed so that the pipes 13c-15c can be protruded downward from the peripheries of the holes 13a-15a. At the same time, cylindrical blocking ribs 13d-15d are provided upward at a prescribed distance from the peripheral edges of the holes 13a-15a and the lower end faces of the pipes 13c-15c are brought into contact with the upper surfaces of lower adjacent insulating plates protruded toward the holes 13a-15a from the ribs 13d-15d. In addition, the series of drain pipes 13c-15c are continuously extended to the lower cases. Alternatively, each drain pipe is extended to the lower case side to the lower end of the laminated section and the drain pipes of the lower insulating plates are positioned on the outer peripheries of the drain pipes of the upper layers.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
