PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silicone-polycarbonate block copolymer having an improved clarity by selecting a silicone-polycarbonate block copolymer having specific polydiorganosiloxane blocks and a specified haze. ;SOLUTION: This silicone-polycarbonate block copolymer is selected which has a haze lower than about 30 and about 0.5 - about 10 wt.% chemically bound polyorganosiloxane blocks comprising, on average, about 10 - about 100 chemically bound diorganosiloxy units. Further, a compsn. is selected which has a haze lower than about 30 and comprises a polycarbonate (A) and a silicone- polycarbonate block copolymer (B) having about 0.5 - about 80 wt.% polydiorganosiloxane blocks comprising, on average, about 10 - about 100 chemically bound diorganosiloxy units in such an amt. of polymer B that the amt. of the polydiorganosiloxane blocks is about 0.5 - about 10 wt.% of the sum of polymers A and B.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
