PURPOSE: To control a motor so that the power train of an electric vehicle may not vibrate fore and aft. CONSTITUTION: When step-off data F'm inputted in order is constant or its variation is within a prescribed value, the step-off data may generate hunting near a threshold, so the renewal of the step-off data is prohibited, a torque command value T corresponding to the step-off data stored already is calculated by a computing part 23, and the torque command value T is transmitted to a communication control part 11 through a transmission cable 13. The torque command value T received by the communication control part 11 through the communication cable 13 is delivered to a motor control part 7, and a current command signal is generated according to the torque command value T by the motor control part 7 to be outputted to an inverter 9. Alternating current is generated according to a current command signal to be outputted to a motor 3, thus conducting torque control for the motor 3.
