PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filler metal for an Ni based heat resistant superalloy (Inconel 738LC) which enables the formation of a weld zone having reduced crack sensitivity, and excellent high temperature strength.;SOLUTION: The filler metal 1 at least contains C, Ti and Al. C is incorporated into the filler metal 1 by an amount larger than that in a base material 4 consisting of Inconel 738LC, and, Ti and Al are incorporated therein by amounts smaller than those in the base material 4.
