PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents management device with a security function for preventing browsing of multiple contents from analogy of a file name of contents required to be restricted from browsing.;SOLUTION: A server 200 refers to a file type information database 240 on the basis of an extension received with a file upload request to acquire a file storage destination, forms encrypted contents ID to allocate it to a file name, and applies the extension to the contents ID to change the file name to a file storage name. Then, the file is stored in the file storage destination under the file storage name, while the file storage destination and the file storage name are associated with the contents ID to be stored in a contents information database 280.
