PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial transfer material capable of easily and efficiently imparting antibacterial property onto the necessary parts of ceramic articles at a low cost, to provide a method for manufacturing antibacterial articles, and the product.;SOLUTION: This antibacterial transfer material is obtained by forming an antibacterial transfer member obtained by laminating on a sheet-like substrate an adhesive layer peelable therefrom, (an antibacterial agent diffusion inhibiting layer as needed), an antibacterial glaze layer comprising an antibacterial agent and a glaze (or may be a two-layer structure of an antibacterial agent layer/a glaze layer), (and an overcoat layer comprising a film-formable organic material, as needed) in this order. The antibacterial article is obtained by peeling the transfer member from the sheet-like substrate, adhering the member onto the desired parts of the ceramic article and firing the ceramic article to form the antibacterial glaze layer part thereon to give the antibacterial product.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
