PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for easily manufacturing a see-through display item through which visual recognition of the exterior from the interior is possible but visual recognition of the interior from the exterior is difficult.;SOLUTION: The display item is formed of a see-through recording material 1 and a transfer auxiliary member 2. The see-through recording material 1 includes a number of through holes 15, and a portion other than the through holes 15 has opacifying properties and ink-jet recording properties imparted thereto. The see-through recording material 1 consists of a bearing body 11, an ink receiving layer 12 on one surface of the bearing body, and an adhesive layer 13 and a separator 14 on the other surface of the same.
